Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive, incurable, and ultimately terminal disease. It gradually strips away a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat — and eventually, to breathe.
In the absence of a cure or meaningful treatments, our focus is on making time count for those affected by MND. Bunnings cares for its local communities. That’s why they're partnering with MND NZ to raise awareness and vital funds for New Zealanders living with MND.
This June, shop, sizzle, and support people affected by MND by purchasing a limited-edition MND beanie at Bunnings or joining what's set to be one of the biggest sausage sizzles of the year.
Every week, at least two people are diagnosed — and at least two New Zealanders die from the disease. By volunteering, you are ensuring no one has to face MND alone. Every sausage, drink or beanie sold helps raise funds to help make time count through support, advocacy and care.
